Canadian high schools across the GTA are bringing us into their classrooms to provide students with a customized program for successful university entry, scholarship applications, and internships.
We are a Toronto-based company that helps high schools increase their post-secondary admission rates by providing students with practical training for essay writing and interviews.
Students do extraordinary things with Pathways:
What We Do:
We know that guidance and university relations departments and guidance counsellors are managing overwhelming caseloads. One-on-one, or in group settings, our goal is to provide customized, turnkey support to prepare students for university entry and their careers beyond.
Step 1: Collective Engagement
We partner with guidance and university relations departments to deliver programs customized to student and institutional needs. We help manage an otherwise stressful process through collaboration with guidance teams, best-fit experts, students and families. Frequent touch points, actionable feedback and collective engagement is at the core of what we do.
Step 2: Self-discovery
We empower students with knowledge of self and goals so they can spearhead their admissions process and enter the post-secondary world confidently.
Step 3: Student-centric Frameworks & Measurable Progress
Sparking students understanding of their transferable skills, core values and inclinations initiates a lifelong authentic alignment of success and fulfilment. In this stage, the guidance team determines the level of expert support they require from Pathways based on student and institutional needs. Tangible results are achieved in terms of evolved perspective, essays, interviews and résumés enabling alignment with best-fit schools and programs.

We Also Cover:
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I)
Pathways always keeps up with current industry requirement, needs of students and institutions. In fact, one of the co-founders is a certified cultural diversity professional. Today’s students need to be prepared and armed with the knowledge of how to successfully navigate the rapidly evolving DE&I landscape.
We offer mini modules all the way up to full programs depending on your students’ needs and exposure. Through exploration of power and privilege, we empower students to recognize all their identities and how that impacts their university admissions journey and future opportunities.
Limited Spots available for this program.
How We Do It:
When it comes to university entry and career management, there is considerable misalignment between what industry and educational leaders expect and the skills students and recent grads bring to the table. The resulting frustration on both sides leads to confusion and loss of confidence for young people.
Pathways works with schools to change this through our:
ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS – For schools or families looking to provide their students with concierge service tailored to each student’s specific needs and goals.
Included bonuses depending on your choice:
GAP Analysis
We conduct a GAP Analysis of every student to make sure that they have everything they need, including academics and extracurricular activities. Our assessment also takes into account their community involvement and how well they’ve done on standardized tests. This data helps us accurately advise each student on what they need for their chosen post-secondary options.
Essay Writing
Essays are a pivotal part of the University application process because it shows how well students can communicate their thoughts in written form.
Essays are also a critical component of the grades-plus program. This allows schools to gauge which students will be the right fit and really get a sense of the students values.
Social Media Awareness
Our informative sessions help students develop a deep understanding of the long-term impact that social media can have on their life.
Social media is a public space, and many people do not realize the permanence of their posts. We aim to increase awareness about this in our workshops.
Program Testimonials
“I just wanted to take the time and thank you both so much for all your help. I conducted an interview for my top choice school and scholarship on Tuesday of this week, and I think it went very well, as the interviewer and I talked for almost 50 minutes, even though she had told me it would only last 30 minutes. I won't hear back until March or April, but I have a feeling I will be hearing good news.
I'm very thankful for all your teachings and for your inspiring words to me which really helped me improve my self-confidence not just in an interview situation, but also in general aspects of my life.”

“I wanted to thank you both (Tina and Abha), for everything you have done for me the past week! I really appreciate all of the time and work you put into the session, and I do believe I’ve improved a lot from where I started. It meant a lot to me how you went out of your way to make sure I was feeling comfortable when answering questions.
Also specifically to Tina, thank you for interviewing me today! I will make sure to apply all of your useful comments the next time I have an interview!
I wish both of you all the best and I hope you enjoy your weekend!”

“I appreciate your help with understanding how to speak to my strengths and experiences. I was accepted into McMaster's engineering program. Their OWR interview was the primary focus of your suggestions. In addition, I was accepted into iSci there as well, which is heavily based on a written application that I used your feedback for. Although I am not attending either of these programs, you taught me valuable skills that will stay with me.”

“I just wanted to let you know that I have completed my one-way interview for the University of Toronto and it went pretty well!
The first 30 seconds of the first recorded question were certainly the hardest and I hesitated a bit, but after that I was pretty happy with it.
I really appreciate the practice questions/ feedback you gave me, they certainly helped ease the nerves.”
