How does taking this course address my career management needs?
Surrounded by equally high achievers, young adults often fail to see their own successes and strengths. Therefore, they struggle to communicate this information when necessary.
Here’s where we come in!
We use frameworks currently used in professional settings, challenging them to think critically yet objectively about themselves. We then push them further by evaluating their goals. At this point the light bulb goes on and participant become engaged with the process of self-discovery.
Self-discovery leads to development of relevant and meaningful narratives helping them to successfully articulate their stories. Self aware and with their stories in place, we introduce the concept of authentic branding and use it as a means to establish each participant’s personal brand or unique value proposition. Rigorous interview and elevator pitch preparation followed by résumé writing gives them the competitive edge they need to shine.
The final icing on the cake is networking skills and the concept of reciprocity. Participants will be ready and ahead of the game for the next stage in their lives, whatever that may be.
Program Capacity
What if the 20 students maximum is reached, can you still accommodate my child?
We find that our group programs work best if we keep numbers to under 20 participants. However, we don’t want to disappoint anyone. Demand and our schedule permitting, we might open up another session, so please reach out for more information. Alternatively, you might want to consider the One-On-One fully customizable option.
The Evaluation Process
How do you gauge participant progress?
Evaluation of participant performance and growth will be progressive and continuous. Throughout the program participants will be given written work, verbal exercises, interactive workshops, and participation in discussion groups, all of which will be evaluated. We will also conduct mock interviews. Criteria for evaluation have been chosen to provide the most meaningful feedback to participants for personal growth. Feedback is received by peer evaluation, self-assessment, and presenter feedback.
Our report will allow participants to gauge “next step readiness” to get from where they are to where they need to be.
